Camp Catnip Information
For youth ages 8 years to 13 years
Hours: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday – Friday
Registration Fee: $175 (full week option)/ $40 each day (daily option)
*You may pick to register for the full week, or pick days that work for you!

Below are the following session dates for the upcoming summer break. Registration will open in early May.

Session 2: July 17th – 21st
Session 3: July 24th – 28th
Session 4: July 31st – Aug. 4th
Session 5: Aug. 7th – 11th
Session 6: Aug. 14th – 18th
Session 7: Aug. 21st – 25th
Session 8: Aug. 28th – Sept. 1st
*Please note, Camp will be starting later than usual due to the local school district calendar changes and the 4th of July holiday.

Camp Catnip is a week-long day camp offered during spring break and summer break. During Camp Catnip, youth enjoy an active learning environment with age appropriate curriculum while working hands on with the animals at Heartland Humane Society. Camp Catnip focuses on building leadership skills in youth, as well as educating them in fun ways on important animal related topics – Responsible Pet Care, Animal Safety & Bite Prevention, Careers with Animals, and Open Paw Dog Training. A Camp Catnip T-shirt is included with registration. Limited scholarships available through Heartland Humane Society.
