 Heartland is in need of high quality cat, kitten and dog food (dry food and wet cat food). Heartland has drop-off bins at Animal Crackers, Bi-Mart, The Cat's Meow, and at the Heartland shelter.

In addition, if you are wearing OSU colors you will receive $10 off the adoption fee of a cat not already on special or $10 off the adoption fee of any dog.

Come celebrate kitten season with us at our first ever Kitten Shower on August 22nd! Visit between 1 and 4 pm to learn more about the shelter and our foster program enjoying cake and punch.

Please bring a donation to benefit the foster care program - wishlists can be found at the shelter and at Animal Crackers, Corvallis Petco and the 9th Street Bi-Mart.

Heartland Humane Society presents DogtobertFest 2010 Saturday, October 23, 2010.

DogtoberFest is Heartland’s newest event featuring food, drinks and treats for your four-legged friend.

The day will begin with PetWalk at the new downtown dog park and ending up at Downward Dog on First Street where guest can clean up with a dog wash, bring the kids to have a blast in the children’s area, grab a bite to eat and cool down with a refreshing Block 15 beer while listening to great music. Come join us!

Heartland Humane Society is a nonprofit animal welfare organization founded in 1966. Each year Heartland receives more than 2400 animals and teaches bite-prevention skills to more than 1000 school-age children. Beyond sheltering homeless animals and conducting humane education programs the organization provides lost and found services and distributes pet food to low-income pet owners.
