Small Animal Adoption
Our shelter is open to the public from 12 pm – 5 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as Friday through Sunday. We are closed to the public on Monday and Thursday. You do not need an appointment to come in and adopt a cat or small animal during our open hours. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-serve basis; we cannot put adoptable pets on hold. (Rare exceptions may be made for medical or behavioral needs.) We are delighted to welcome the public back into our shelter. In order to maintain the safety of our staff, volunteers, and the public, the capacity inside our building is capped at 20 guests. With this in mind, we are asking visitors to limit their time visiting with adoptable pets to half an hour.
Get a head start on the adoption process by filling out an Adoption Questionnaire before your visit. This form tells us about your home and what type of pet will suit you best. It will save you time during your visit to the shelter.
