Kindness Kids Club
Kindness Kids’ Club is a volunteer program for youth ages 8 years to 15 years. During program hours, Heartland Staff supervise the youth volunteers while they help with afternoon tasks and special projects around the shelter. The youth volunteers learn how to care and work with animals all while building leadership skills and compassion.
Kindness Kids’ Club meets through the school year months (Sept. to June) on Tuesdays & Wednesdays
Program runs from 3:45pm – 5:30pm
For youth ages 8 to 15 years old
During Kindness Kids’ Club, youth participate in daily tasks such as afternoon feeding, potty walks, animal socialization, and art & crafts.
As we approach the last month of the school year, new membership for Kindness Kids’ Club will remain closed. Membership will open up again in the fall once the 2017/18 school year starts.
