Group Volunteering
From scout troops and youth groups to fraternities, sororities, and adult service organizations, we love to provide service opportunities for groups of all kinds! Group volunteering is available at special events or at the shelter. Our small shelter can accommodate groups of 2-12 people at a time. We can offer one large group volunteer shift per semester, or several small group shifts (a good option for larger groups to get all their members into the shelter). Please note: youth groups will require at least one chaperone over the age of 18.
Available Shifts:
AM Cat Care: 9-11 AM on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday. For large groups of up to 12 people. Clean kennels, feed and water the animals, clean public areas and catteries in preparation for opening to the public.
PM Cat Care: 3-5 pm on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. For small groups of up to 6 people. Afternoon cat care chores like feeding, restocking, and maintaining a comfortable environment for the animals.
