Giving youth inspiration.

Camp Catnip is a week-long day camp offered during spring break and summer break. During Camp, youth enjoy an active learning environment with age appropriate curriculum, while working hands on with the animals at Heartland Humane Society. Camp Catnip focuses on building leadership skills in youth, as well as educating them in fun ways on important animal related topics – Responsible Pet Care, Animal Safety & Bite Prevention, Careers with Animals, and Open Paw Dog Training.

General Camp Catnip Information

Ages: For youth ages 8 to 13 years old

Hours: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday – Friday

Registration Fee: $200

* Includes a Camp Catnip T-shirt and Pizza Party at Papa’s Pizza!

At this time, we will not be collecting registration fees, however, with your registration, it will hold your child(ren)’s place in the specified session. Invoices will be sent out prior to the start of Camp.

*Please note, Camp Sessions are subject to cancellation due to statewide closures. We will communicate as early as possible if/when changes are made.
